Lensa Alternatives (2026): What Lensa Does, What It Costs, and Other Options

Lensa is a free U.S. job search engine with daily job alerts. Its pages do not describe auto-apply: you apply one job at a time. Its terms say uploading a resume lets Lensa share, license and sell your resume and data to third parties, and you can opt out of certain sharing. If you want your resume written for each job and the application filled in, these are the alternatives.

What Lensa does and costs

Lensa is a job search engine for U.S. jobs that sends free daily job alerts, one job title and location at a time. It says it does not own the listings; partners supply them, and its FAQ says to open a job's source page and follow the steps there to apply. ApplyAssist adds cover letter, interview practice and resume tools.

Its terms let Lensa share, license and sell your data and resume to partners, including other job boards, with an opt-out.

How it sends applications: Lensa does not describe auto-apply. You apply job by job, either on the employer's site or with Lensa's internal apply, where you let Lensa submit that one application; its terms say internal apply can drop questions that are not required.

Price: job alerts are free, and some partner services may charge. We found no pricing page on Lensa's site. Its job seeker agreement describes a paid Career Coaching subscription but does not state a price. (From Lensa's own website, checked October 20, 2026.)

Capstone Careers: the alternative for hourly and entry-level jobs

Capstone Careers was built for the hourly jobs most auto-apply tools do not mention: CNA, phlebotomy, pharmacy tech, warehouse, forklift, CDL driving, trades and retail.

  • You pick the job and type your ZIP. Each morning it finds openings within 10, 25 or 50 miles, from Adzuna, a licensed job feed, and hundreds of employers' own job boards.
  • It rewrites your resume for each posting using only what is on it, and writes a cover letter from the same facts.
  • It fills in the application. On most sites you check it and send it. On a paid plan you can turn on sending for you, up to 100 a week, on sites that allow it.
  • It never logs into your LinkedIn or Indeed account, and never fills in your date of birth, Social Security number or driver's license number.
  • Every application you send gets a proof page with the employer, job, date and how you applied, which works as your unemployment work search log.

Price: free for 1 application a month, plus the resume and cover letter for 1 job. More is $9.99 for a 7-day pass, one payment that does not renew, or $34.99 a month for unlimited applications. See jobs near you.
