Capstone Workforce Terms of Service

Effective October 29, 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Capstone Tech, Inc. ("Capstone," "we") runs Capstone Workforce at capstoneworkforce.com. That includes our free guides and tools, interview practice, Capstone Applied (which finds jobs and fills in and sends applications), the Capstone Applied browser extension, the Live Assistant, and the platform training programs use with their participants. These terms are an agreement between you and Capstone whenever you use any of them.

By creating an account, buying something, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and is part of these terms.

If your account comes through an organization (a workforce board, college, nonprofit or employer), that organization's agreement with us also applies. Where the two differ about the organization's program, its agreement controls.

2. Your account

  • Age: you must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you may use the site only through a program or with a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • Accurate details: use your real name and an email you check. Keep your work history, credentials and saved answers true and up to date, because we use them in documents and applications in your name.
  • One person per account: keep your password private, and do not share your account or use someone else's. Tell us right away at sg@capstonetech.co if you think someone else got in.

3. Paying, cancelling and refunds

We show the price before you pay. Payments go through Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars.

  • One-time purchases (such as a 7-day pass, exam prep, the WIOA apply guide, the funding plan, or a resume rewrite) are one payment. Nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Access lasts for the period shown when you buy.
  • Monthly plans charge you when you start and again each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in your account settings. You keep the plan until the end of the month you already paid for, and it does not charge you again.
  • Price changes apply to new purchases. If the price of a plan you already have changes, we will email you before the new price is charged, and you can cancel before then.
  • Refunds: where a product's page promises a refund, we keep that promise. For example, if the WIOA apply guide does not get you through intake, reply to its email and we refund it. For anything else, email sg@capstonetech.co and tell us what went wrong. We review every request, and we refund a purchase that did not work as described. We do not refund the unused part of a month or a pass, except where the law requires it.
  • Program-paid access: if your organization pays for your account, its agreement with us covers billing, and you are not charged.

4. AI practice, scores and documents

Our interview coach, scores, feedback, resumes, cover letters, career plans and answers are produced with AI. They are made to help you prepare, and they can be wrong or incomplete. A score is our coach's opinion of one answer, not a prediction of what an employer will decide.

Read every document before you use it. Our resume tools are built not to add facts you did not give us, but you are responsible for making sure anything you send an employer is true.

5. Capstone Applied: applications sent in your name

When you use Capstone Applied, you authorize us to act for you in the ways below.

  • Filling in and sending: we fill in job applications with the information in your account. When you turn on sending, we submit them to employers in your name, up to the weekly limit shown in your account. You can turn sending off at any time.
  • Employer accounts: if you turn on "Make employer accounts for me," we create or sign in to accounts on employers' job sites with your email and the one job-site password we keep for you.
  • Job boards: LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and Glassdoor do not allow automated applying in their terms of service. If you turn on sending on those boards, you accept that your account there could be restricted or closed. You can leave it off and send those applications yourself.
  • What you are responsible for: the answers you save, the jobs you choose, and following each employer's instructions. Check the proof record we save for each application you send.
  • Job listings: openings come from employers' own job boards. We do not write or check every posting, and a listing can be out of date, filled or wrong. Do not pay anyone who asks you for money to be hired.
  • No promise of a result: we cannot promise that an employer will receive, read or answer an application, or that you will get an interview or a job. Employers make their own hiring decisions.

The Capstone Applied browser extension stays idle until you press its fill button, and section 7 of our privacy policy explains what it handles.

6. The Live Assistant on a real interview

The Live Assistant listens to an interview through your device and shows talking points from your own resume. Before you use it on a real interview or call, you are responsible for following the employer's rules about outside help, and any law where you or the other people on the call live that requires their consent before a call is listened to or transcribed.

7. Information about training, funding, licenses and exams

Our guides, the WIOA Navigator, state pages, program lists and exam prep are general information from public sources, checked on the dates we show. They are not legal or financial advice. Rules, deadlines and funding change, and the agency, school or testing body makes every decision about eligibility, enrollment, funding and licensing. Confirm anything important with the official source we link to.

We do not promise that you will qualify for funding, be admitted to a program, or pass an exam.

8. Program participants

  • Your organization decides which features you get and for how long.
  • Your program staff can see your practice activity, scores, readiness and goals, as section 6 of our privacy policy describes.
  • If your organization ends its program with us or removes you, your program access can end. Email us if you want a copy of your information first.

9. Your content

You own what you put into Capstone Workforce: your recordings, answers, resume details and saved answers. You give us permission to store, process and use that content only to run the service for you (for example, to score your practice, build your documents and fill in your applications), to share it as our privacy policy describes, and to keep the service safe. That permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

10. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or use the site to deceive an employer, school or agency.
  • Apply for jobs in someone else's name, or give false information about yourself.
  • Share, resell or rent your account or anything you bought.
  • Copy, scrape or download our guides, data or tools in bulk, or use them to build a competing product.
  • Try to get around a limit, payment step or security measure, or reverse-engineer the site or the extension.
  • Upload anything harmful, such as malware, or anything that harasses or threatens another person.
  • Overload the site, or use bots to reach it, other than search engines that follow our robots.txt.

11. Our content

The site, its guides, question banks, scoring, data and design belong to Capstone or the people we license them from. You may use them for your own job search, training or program. Links to other websites, such as schools, state agencies and employers, are there for your use. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time. To close your account and delete your information, email sg@capstonetech.co from the address on your account. Cancel any monthly plan first in your account settings.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or does not pay what it owes. When we can, we will tell you why first. Sections 3 (refunds already owed), 9, 11, 13, 14 and 15 continue after an account ends.

13. No guarantees

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written in these terms, including that the site will always be available or free of errors, or that using it will lead to a job, an interview, funding, enrollment, a license or a passed exam.

14. Limit on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Capstone is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost wages, lost job offers, or a job-board account that is restricted after you turn on sending there. Our total responsibility for any claim about the site is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

15. Disputes

If you have a problem with us, email sg@capstonetech.co first, and we will try to solve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute that we cannot settle goes to the state or federal courts for Alexandria, Virginia, and you and Capstone both agree to those courts. Either of us may instead bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

16. Changes and contact

We will post any change to these terms on this page with a new date. If a change affects what you have already paid for or how your plan works, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Using the site after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
