Background
About the cohort
Three things to know before the numbers: who the customer is, why they needed the platform, and what the deployment looked like.
The organization
A national IT workforce development nonprofit. No-cost training in help desk, sysadmin, networking, and cybersecurity, funded by WIOA-aligned dollars, philanthropy, and corporate hiring partners.
The challenge
A coach giving 1:1 mock interviews delivers 4 to 6 sessions per day. A 30-person cohort needing 8 to 10 reps each consumes 6 to 8 weeks of one full-time coach. Most programs cannot dedicate that, so participants typically leave with 1 or 2 sessions.
The deployment
Onboarded in March 2026. The platform delivered behavioral, technical, and situational mock interviews on demand, with AI scoring on five communication dimensions after every session.

What this would have cost without the platform
To produce the same 245 sessions and rubric-scored feedback through staff time:
| Approach | Calculation | Direct cost |
|---|---|---|
| In-house workforce coaching staff | 205 hours × $40/hr loaded labor, plus 25 hours admin | $9,200 |
| Outsourced career coach contractors | 205 hours × $85/hr (mid-market contractor rate) |
