The weekly work search rule in Colorado
The agency does not post a required number. You must do work search activities every week you request payment. CDLE recommends at least 5 activities a week (one line on the page says 3 to 5).
Report the work search activities you completed each week when you request payment in MyUI+. Keep proof of each one.
File and certify on the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment site. The rules can change, so check CDLE's work search page if a letter from them says something different.

Who does not have to search for work in Colorado
If you are job attached (expected back with your most recent employer within 16 weeks) or union attached (the union must find you work within 16 weeks), your work search may be waived. If you are in training, you may qualify for fewer required activities; contact your local workforce center.
Keep your work search log free
Write down each activity the day you do it: the date, the employer, how you contacted them, the job, and what happened. If the state asks to see your search, the log is your proof.
The free work search log in Capstone Careers keeps it for you: each application you send through Capstone Careers goes on it by itself, you add the ones you do elsewhere, and you can save the week as a PDF.
